The soundmaster PL979SW is a modern interpretation of the classic wooden HiFi System with FM / DAB Radio, CD Player, Encoding, plus Audio Technica Magnetic Cartridge System and separate standalone speakers.

Not only that but you can still play all your favourite CD collections, and even digitise audio thanks to the encoder built in to the unit that can copy your vinyl, CD, and more on to USB or SD Card for future storage and use.
There is even the ability to connect audio sources using AUX-in connections and all can be controlled with the included remote control - no need to get up and down to control, just a push of a button!
